How To Prevent Heart Attacks

You hear a lot about people having heart attacks and you can do something to help prevent heart attacks.

Change your diet by staying away from all the fatty foods. Having a diet high in fruits and vegetables will lower the risk of having a heart attack. You should also exercise to lose weight if your overweight because being overweight puts a big load on your heart.

Stop that nasty habit, by this I mean smoking. If you don't smoke then good for you but if you do then I would stop. Smoking not only damages your lungs and other parts of your body, it puts you at higher risk of having a heart attack. When you quit smoking, this will help prevent heart attacks.

Stress can play a role in this also. You want to do some activities that will help reduce stress. It can be anything that you enjoy that lowers your stress level by putting you in a good mood.

By eating right, exercising right and managing stress, you will be able to prevent heart attacks by lowering your risk.
