Is everything going down the drain?

It sure seems like everything is getting very pricey. You can't really go anywhere anymore because gas prices are way up there. It is getting harder to make a living, every time you turn around something costs more which takes more of what you earn and if you aren't getting any raises to compensate for it then it leaves you with less and that is money that you could of done something else with. Maybe they could figure out a different fuel that we could burn in our cars that is renewable and good for the environment. I hope they come up with something like that because with everything rising, you can't really have any fun anymore and that is what life is all about. I have been riding my bicycle more until my spokes broke on it and I have to yet get it repaired. Where will we be in 50 years from now? Will we have a lot more advanced technologies or maybe we won't be here. Maybe we all just can't get a long and the world ends with I big war. I hope that doesn't happen but sometimes it seems like we can just not get along. We are all the same and depend on the same basic needs, so why can't we just get along and work as a team to survive. Maybe everyone is just getting greedy and they don't think of other people and won't help them because they have to have everything for themselves. They are very selfish. It just seems that to me and I'm sure a lot of people agree. If everyone would just work together we would have world peace, that will never happen. I guess all you can do is your part and that will make you feel really good. You can't control what other people do, all you can do is talk to them and try to get them to do their part. We can only pray that one day the world will have world peace.
