Getting rid of the habit

I have attempted to quit drinking soda because it is bad for you. It has been a little over 2 weeks since I had my last can. I feel a lot better without it! I have been getting these cravings and I have been dealing with it by drinking water. I keep more hydrated because when I was drinking soda the caffeine in it dehydrates the body. It also makes us loose calcium which weakens our bones. One soda also contains about 10 teaspoons of sugar which is to much for me. The sugar is really bad for your enamel on your teeth. It was pretty easy to quit for the first couple days and then I started getting the cravings of soda, thinking about how good it tastes and everything. I told myself no and no again, it worked. I have been drinking water, juice and milk in replacement of soda. In the long run I know my body is going to thank me by giving me more energy. I can't wait to see the effects of quitting soda for a whole year will do for my body. I am hoping the cravings will stop sometime soon which they should and I bet I won't even want anymore soda. The taste will chase me away in the future because of all the sugar and other ingredients in soda. It seems like I have more energy so far during the day which makes me happy. I am trying my best to stay away and hopefully this works out for me. It seems like I have been getting more hungry which really doesn't make since. If any of you are trying to quit, I wish you the best of luck!
