Stress really has a big effect on your life. It even affects your mind and thoughts in ways such as anxiety, restlessness, worrying, irritability, depression, sadness, anger, mood swings, job dissatisfaction, feeling insecure, confusion, burnout, forgetfulness, resentment, guilt, inability to concentrate, seeing only the negatives and I'm sure their is more. Here are some effects on your behavior, overeating, under eating, angry outbursts, drug abuse, excessive drinking, increased smoking, social withdraw, crying spells, relationship conflicts, decreased productivity, blaming other and I'm sure their is many more. You want to take a deep breath if you are feeling stressed out. You want to communicate what is bothering you to a friend or may even your cat, let the stress built up out. Try to have some fun and tell some jokes, laughter is a really good stress reliever. Exercise is a good stress reliever, their is nothing like being in shape. Exercising releases endorphins which is a feel good hormone. Chocolate release endorphins also but only in small amounts, not like exercising. Being organized helps relieve stress because then you don't feel overwhelmed. Sometimes we think theirs to much to do and not enough time. Organizing will help this. Light a candle and just relax, close your eyes and image that you are in a stress-free place. Try meditating, this will help a lot, it relaxes the body it brings you in an environment that you want to me in. Sometimes all we need is just to stop what we are doing because the world moves at such a high pace that we need to rest and able to stop and think of good thoughts. You have to know that you have control over your own body and you make the choices. The ultimate choice is to be as far away from stress as you can!
