Walking
Walking is actually really good for you and we all should do it. They say we all need to at least take 10,000 steps a day, which seems like a lot but it is really not that many. Walking decreases the chance of cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes and other killer diseases. Walking slows down the aging process for which in turn will make you look younger and live longer. Walking 30 mins a day added 1.3 healthy years. You can lose weight doing this, just a little diet and exercise. Try walking 30 mins a day and get a pedometer, see how far you can make it walking. Try setting I goal, I find listening to music makes the time fly by. Walking can prevent you from getting colds, intense workout can weaken the immune system but walking doesn't fall in that category. It helps control your blood pressure by just walking 30 minutes a day. How easy is that? I very much like going on walks just to look around at different things. I like going for walks in the park and watching all the ducks and everything. It even makes you sleep better and have a better mood and well-being. It is easier on your knees and joints rather then running. I find it more enjoyable. If you need to go somewhere and it is not that far, walk there. Instead of taking the elevator, take the stairs. It helps you get rid of stress and gives you energy. These are just a few of the many benefits of walking. Walking is great which means life is great!
