Great Ways To Stay Active

Are you having trouble staying active because of no motivation? You may need to be given a reason to stay active. Like for instance, joining a softball team. It is a lot of fun, it's not the most intense sport but it will get you out of the house because it gives you a reason. The team depends on their players, the other team mates will motivate you. It gives you a reason to get outdoors and do something fun.

If you get on a winning streak, then it's even more of a blast! You will work hard to get and keep that streak. It will be a reward for you and your teammates.

If softball is not your bag, their are plenty more ways to stay active. Maybe you like baseball, it is a little different then softball. Football is another one, I would say this one is more active then those to.

It does not have to be a sport, but they are great ways for motivation. Lets take for example gardening. It is not the most active thing you can do, but hey it will get you out of the house and getting some exercise. Plus you get excellent healthy vegetables which are good for your diet. It is like you kill two birds with one stone.

Rollerblading can be fun too! Going places on your Rollerblade s like the park or your friends house. Maybe you like going around the city.

Walking can be a great way also. Instead of taking the car to places, take a walk to them. Walking burns calories too! Taking a walk can be enjoyable because you can look at the things around you and realize the beauty of everything. It even is a great ways to get landscaping ideas for your house.

In my other blog I'm Trying This Jogging Workout I talk about a great jogging program that you can start if you are not into jogging yet. Jogging is a great way to get active. It burns a lot of calories. The workout gives you an eight week plan to get into jogging. Remember, don't make my first mistakes by trying to jog 6 miles the first day. You want to start out slow so your body gets use to it and you can enjoy it!

This is a few of many things that can keep you motivated to get active to achieve a healthy lifestyle!

I'm trying this jogging workout

I haven't been much of a jogger but I think I know why. Everytime I decide to start to jog, I tend to over push myself the first days and then say heck with it.

I found an 8 week program that I just started trying out and my first day didn't seem to bad. The only thing that I screwed up on it, is I ended up going a little to far so I did more sets of the jogging part. I don't feel horrible like I do whenever I started jogging. I must keep in mind that I need to follow the program because it gradually increases your time. Instead of me trying to jog 6 miles the first day, this aid me in getting up to that point.

Here's what I will be doing.

Now your suppose to start out with a warm up of walking from 5-10 minutes, I just did the first 6 minute walk as my warm up. In weeks to come I will have to do an acually warm up because it requires you to walk for 1 minute and I need at least 5 minutes for my warm-up

Week One: Walk for 6 minutes and jog for 1 minute, repeat this 3 times. I think I ended up doing it 4 or 5 times. 3 sessions 3 times a week.

Week Two: Walk 5 minutes and the jog for 2 minutes. This is a minute difference for both things. 3 sessions 3 times a week.

Week Three: Walk 3 minutes and then jog 4 minutes, repeat 4 times. 4 sessions 4 times a week. Notice how it increases a little bit each week.

Week Four: Walk 2 minutes and the jog 5 minutes, repeat 4 times. 4 sessions 4 times a week.

Week Five: Walk 2 minutes and jog 8 minutes, repeat this 3 times. 4 sessions this week.

Week Six: Walk 2 minutes and jog 9 minutes, repeat this 3 times. 4 sessions this week.

Week Seven: Walk 1 minute and jog 11 minutes, repeat 3 times. 4 sessions this week.

Week Eight: Walk 5 minutes to begin and done with the work out. Run 20 minutes in between.

This program should get be started with jogging so I can job far a long!

The Power of Yoga

Yoga, not only strengthens the body but it strengthens the mind also. It is a series of exercises that are done on a routine basis. Classes are available to learn these exercises, otherwise you can get a book or some videos to learn the exercises of yoga.

Yoga gives the mind the power to connect with the body better. Meditation is included inside yoga's exercises, reaching the goal of unity of mind, body and spirit. The mind is a powerful thing and yoga harnesses this energy together.

It makes you more flexible and your joints free up. It can help with back pain by eliminating it partly or completely so you don't have to deal with it anymore.

When we do these exercises, yoga is the only one that massages all of our internal organs. Some of these organs barely get massaged our whole entire lifetime, with these exercises they get massaged every time. Massaging these organs keeps away disease and gives us a forewarning of possible disease or disorder.

Complete detoxification of the body by providing the best blood flow to all parts of you body, flushing out every nook and cranny. This is possible because all the muscles and joints are gently stretched plus all of the internal organs are massages which provides the best blood flow.

Excellent toning of muscles, taking them from weak to strong. The most important thing yoga does is make you happy and it takes away all of that horrible stress!

Muscle Building Workout Routines

We would all like to have them nice big muscles that girls adore. There are different ways that you can achieve this goal. You can go to the gym and just do what you think you need to do. You could work out on some of the machines and life weights and bench press. Doing push ups will also help the arms build muscle. You want to eat a lot of protein because in order to build muscle you need protein. There are programs that you can buy that will guide you to achieve your goal faster. Muscle Gaining Secrets is one of these programs that will teach you things you do not know that will help to achieve the goal faster. This will tell you what other programs are doing wrong and what you need to do to have faster success. This still cannot happen overnight, it will just speed things up. The questions is rather, do you want to try to build muscle yourself or do you want one of these programs like Muscle Gaining Secrets to help you to the success of your goal, knowing this way will work and you will see improvement. Most of the time if we are not sure on what to do to accomplish this success, we need further help. Doing pull ups and push ups will help and most likely show some results but you won't get the most out of your workout unless you really know what you are doing. So I would try to go to the gym and see if you can do it yourself, but if your knowledge isn't great in this field, then you might want to consider trying a program like Muscle Gaining Secrets to help you greatly with your success of muscle building and to also have you learn a ton about Muscle Building Workout Routines!

Walking

Walking is actually really good for you and we all should do it. They say we all need to at least take 10,000 steps a day, which seems like a lot but it is really not that many. Walking decreases the chance of cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes and other killer diseases. Walking slows down the aging process for which in turn will make you look younger and live longer. Walking 30 mins a day added 1.3 healthy years. You can lose weight doing this, just a little diet and exercise. Try walking 30 mins a day and get a pedometer, see how far you can make it walking. Try setting I goal, I find listening to music makes the time fly by. Walking can prevent you from getting colds, intense workout can weaken the immune system but walking doesn't fall in that category. It helps control your blood pressure by just walking 30 minutes a day. How easy is that? I very much like going on walks just to look around at different things. I like going for walks in the park and watching all the ducks and everything. It even makes you sleep better and have a better mood and well-being. It is easier on your knees and joints rather then running. I find it more enjoyable. If you need to go somewhere and it is not that far, walk there. Instead of taking the elevator, take the stairs. It helps you get rid of stress and gives you energy. These are just a few of the many benefits of walking. Walking is great which means life is great!
