How to Lower your Blood Pressure

Do you have High Blood Pressure? I know that most people would like to do something about it. High blood pressure is not good. Blood moves through arteries at a higher pressure then normal. Arteries are the pipeline of your body. High Blood pressure damages your blood vessels. This can lead to having a stroke, kidney failure, heart disease and heart attack.

What you want to do is to keep yourself as calm as possible. Even if something really wants to make you flip, you want to stay calm. Watch what you eat, and eat foods that are good for you. Don't smoke, this makes your blood pressure higher, or even any tobacco product. Make sure you exercise, if your over weight, losing weight will lower your blood pressure. Exercising itself will lower your blood pressure also. Limit your sodium, alcohol and caffeine intake for these will make your blood pressure higher.

Try taking deep breaths and just relax. Maybe go for a relaxing walk. Read a relaxing book. Do something that you love doing to relieve stress which will lower your blood pressure. Exercising is really good because it will get your body fit, it will lower stress and lower your blood pressure. Exercising will also do a whole bunch of other things. Try to enjoy like and live it to its fullest.

If none of these work you maybe have to take medicine. Consult your doctor and see what he/she thinks.
