Benefit from a Steam Room

Whenever I go to the YMCA, I like to use their steam room. When I enter the steam room, it is quite hot. Sometimes I take some cold water to drink while I am in the steam room. I start to sweat pretty good because it is hot. It relaxes my body and makes me feel refreshed. Sometimes I have to take a break, so I exit the steam room to get some fresh air. It is pretty cold outside the steam room until my body gets used to the outside temperature.

Steam rooms are good for you. They get all the toxins out of your body when you sweat. The body has 2.5 million sweat glands. The body can remove 30% of the toxins in a steam room session. Environmental chemicals and poor diet cause 95% of cancers, so a steam room is a quite health choice.

The steam room makes the skin look better and feel better. It hydrates the skin because the heat makes the heart pump faster and all the vitamins and minerals get to the tiniest places. It will strengthen the immune system. It will either kill a virus because a virus can survive only within a certain temperature or it will just hurt the virus.

It helps you breath better by opening up airways. It feels good to take a nice deep breath. It also helps people with asthma and allergies. It will get rid of that stuffed up nose.

It makes the body relax which relieves pain and stress. If you have a bad day, this could help. It relaxes the mind and the body and its muscles. This is a good way to relieve stress plus it does all this other stuff for you. When using a stream room, you should take a warm shower before entering the steam room. Do not exceed 15 minutes in the steam room. When you exit the steam room, let the body go back to room temperature before reentering.

Do not use a steam room more then 3 times in one session. Make sure you drink lots of water while using to keep yourself hydrated. If you have any medical conditions, you may want to consult a doctor.

Happy Steam Room using!!!!
